While being in this welding class I’ve learned so much, pushed myself in ways I could never have seen myself doing before. I have made friendships for a lifetime I truly feel like this class has made me a better person.  I also learned a lot about myself in this process.  The instructors are incredible, amazing human beings.

I am so happy I decided to take this welding class. Not only did I learn a trade that I will have for the rest of my life, but the joy that I have by just completing something. This has given me the inspiration to know that I can do whatever I put my mind to. I can finally get a job that pays good money due to this class. I am very thankful for the Flying HIGH program.

Before I came to Flying HIGH I only had dreams and hope, but with no skills or means to fulfill them. Five months into my stay here I have a job and I am working on getting a vehicle. The welding instructor’s are fantastic. It seems to me they care about us, and it shows.

This experience of going through the welding program at the PDC has been so beneficial. I have been able to secure a full-time position as a welder, making enough money to provide my future with financial stability. I cannot express how grateful I am to have a trade that will be with me for the rest of my life. Thank you.

Flying HIGH provided me a safe environment that kept me busy and engaged and challenged me to develop in multiple areas of life. I took advantage of programs to become a productive member of society. I gained computer skills, gardening, and obtained certifications as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant and Peer Recovery Supporter. I was given fundamental knowledge to become more prepared for a job. All of this has prepared me for a better life.
