Services: Their mission is to provide service to people in need, to advocate for justice in social structures for Columbiana, Trumbull, and Mahoning County.

• Basic needs assistance
  • Specific for individuals and families to provide financial assistance in crisis
  • Assessment, connecting client with community resources, Provide advocacy
  • Gives help with utilities, food, prescriptions, toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers, etc.
  • Gently used clothes for children and Holiday assistance.
• Down payment assistance/home ownership
  • Catholic Charities work collaboratively with their HUD certified housing counselors in Youngstown.
  • Offers down payment assistance and post purchase housing counseling.
  • You could qualify up to $3000.00 in assistance
• Ex-Offender/Prison Re-entry/Linkage Services
  • Works with people leaving the criminal justice system, with mental illness or risk of homelessness.
  • Leaving State correctional or the county jail
• Financial Education
  • One on one and group sessions to provide education on budgeting, credit, scams, and importance of establishing a savings plan.
• First Step/ Pregnancy support services
  • Supportive case management, Limited emergency financial assistance, connects with community resources to help them plan to be a parent.
• Homeless outreach & Rapid Housing
  • Helps individuals and families get re-housed
• Senior Support Services
  • Provides client assessment, casework, face to face interviews, collateral interviews, service delivery, advocacy with community resources, assistance with program applications.
• Catholic Charites Senior Services
  • This is in Southern Columbiana County
• Christina House Domestic Violence Program
  • Provides comprehensive programming for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
  • Conditions of Eligibility*** A female resident of Columbiana County and her children in need of assistance. ***
• Voice of Hope Homeless Shelter
  • Alternative Shelter for those people not able to access exiting emergency shelter in Mahoning County.
  • Its available to help households with children as well as temporary shelter for disables.
  • Provides a one level 7-bedroom facility.
