How it Started
All of Flying HIGH’s services, including the Professional Development Center, were born out of identifying a need in the community. The PDC was founded in March 2011 by Flying HIGH Inc.’s executive director, Jeffrey M. Magada. The vision was to provide accelerated vocational training and teach professionalism skills that could give anybody a springboard into in-demand industries where they could start a career and build a future.
Today, in addition to vocational training, the PDC offers customized employment training, direct employment services, and access to emerging career pathways in our region.
Our Parent Company
Flying HIGH Inc. was established in 1994 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves residents in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. With locations in Youngstown and Warren, Ohio Flying HIGH Inc. continues to grow as the need demands.
If we had to describe what Flying HIGH is in one sentence, we’d say, “Flying HIGH is Integrated Workforce Services.”

Access Healthy Foods Mahoning Valley
Access Healthy Foods Mahoning Valley is a social enterprise of Flying HIGH Inc.
Mahoning Valley Mobile Market
The Mahoning Valley Mobile Market sells locally grown food from GROW Urban Farm and other local growers to Mahoning Valley residents, providing fresh produce and other essentials to food desert areas.
