Description:

As a Carpentry Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students on the fundamentals of carpentry. You will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of carpenters and help them develop the skills needed to excel in their careers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about teaching and has a deep understanding of carpentry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that cover the fundamentals of carpentry, including safety procedures, tool usage, and construction techniques.
• Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration to students in a variety of carpentry techniques, including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on their performance, including grading assignments and exams.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the curriculum and instructional materials.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the carpentry industry
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all levels
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
