Description:
As a Carpentry Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students on the fundamentals of carpentry. You will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of carpenters and help them develop the skills needed to excel in their careers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about teaching and has a deep understanding of carpentry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that cover the fundamentals of carpentry, including safety procedures, tool usage, and construction techniques.
- Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration to students in a variety of carpentry techniques, including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on their performance, including grading assignments and exams.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the curriculum and instructional materials.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the carpentry industry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Description:
As the Professional Development Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Review of applications for housing and determine appropriateness for approval of residency.
- Enforcement of all house rules and residency agreements while overseeing house operations.
- Engaging clients and establishing professional relationships in order to promote recovery, assist in motivation of residents, and guide residents in establishment or attainment of work readiness, vocational and occupational goals.
- Provide engagement and supportive services to empower residents and to promote stability and recovery through coordination of services.
- To foster an interdisciplinary approach, participate in scheduled staffing’s to ensure best outcomes for resident.
- Will maintain timely, confidential, and accurate documentation as required.
- Work collaboratively with case managers, instructors, and fiscal to address the service needs of residents to achieve and maintain housing stability.
- Provide accurate, timely documentation to ensure program compliance with funder requirements.
- Provide creative engagement services.
- Assist clients in the identification of treatment goals, motivational levels, and resources needed to attain a successful treatment option.
- May provide individual or group counseling to assist client with the identification of barriers to recovery, and guiding client in the identification of alternate attitudes, beliefs, and actions that will support informed decision making.
Requirements:
- Current Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant or higher

Description:
The Integrated Workforce Peer Recovery Supporter will assist, and guide individuals who have a substance use disorder or are re-integrating into the community from incarceration. The Peer Recovery Supporter will collaborate with Case Managers to provide support and assist with the engagement of consumers in activities and supportive services that will help the consumer overcome barriers and engage in a more fulfilling lifestyle. Located at our Warren location
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will learn the services provided through the Professional Development Center and Flying HIGH which may support clients in need of assistance.
- Will learn how to navigate and work in OneFlow to register clients, accurately complete intake paperwork, Career Counseling forms, and assist case managers.
- Will observe case management meetings to learn processes, procedures and obtain knowledge of the potential needs for peer recovery support services.
- Will assist case managers on daily tasks such as scanning and uploading documents into OneFlow, submission of supportive service
requests, and contacting clients to do follow ups and scheduling. - Will assist incarcerated individuals transition from Reentry to Work by providing in-reach and post-release employment services.
- Will provide peer recovery support services to clients which may consist of transportation to/from appointments, recovery meetings, court, BMV, WTYF sites and other identified external sources.
- Will identify the recovery, resiliency and wellness needs of the individual and identify activities that will promote the client’s resiliency and recovery, self-determination, advocacy, well-being and skill development.
- Will assist client in the development of formal and informal community support that will increase social support networks.
- Will provide services in a culturally inclusive and competent manner which includes not practicing, condoning, facilitating, or collaborating in any form of discrimination.
- Will maintain appropriate boundaries and provide services inside my area of lived experience, training, competence and scope of practice.
- Research other agencies and SUD treatment sources in Trumbull County in order to refer clients and help with other resources.
- Assist staff members at community events and outreach events.
- Assist PDC assistant manager with any daily tasks as needed.
- Communicate via email with staff, clients and outside sources in a professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Maintain professional standards and observe the guidelines established within the PRS Code of Ethics.
- Maintain Ohio Peer Supporter certification requirements.
Requirements:
- HSD/GED equivalent and Ohio Peer Recovery Support Certification; two years of recovery preferred
- Knowledge of 12 step community and other recovery-oriented supports/resources;
- Valid Ohio driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
Post employment civilian background check and drug testing are required
